Soya or vegetarian sausages and burgers: where can I buy them in the UK?

I'm in London. Thank you in advance.

Answer:
Most large supermarket chains carry veggie sausages and burgers including tescos, sainsbury's, asda, iceland.

Look for Quorn. this is a range of vegetarian foods including the above.
tesco and asda sell them becasue my mum gets them coz im veggie!u can get em fresh or frozen
well im guessing if your in london your probly gonna have quite a few health stores, try one of those or waitrose. Maybe your nearest supermarket like sainsbury's or morrisons, they usually have a wide variety of good meats
I don't know because I don't live in the UK. But I have suggestions. Why don't you try making your own oatburgers, It's really easy to make and it's fat and cholesterol free {heart-healthy}

OatBurgers

3 c. boiling water
1-2 c. quick or rolled oats
1-1/2 tsp. onion pwd.
1 tsp. salt
1 T. thyme
6 T. soy sauce
Simmer for 10 minutes. Then add:
1-1/2 c. sunflower meal
1-1/2 c. pecan meal
Make the meal by blending the nuts in the blender until fine. Some places will sell the meal. It is much more reasonable than whole nuts.
Using a 1/3 c. measuring cup make mounds on a cookie sheet and press each to make a pattie. You can make them larger or smaller according to the intended use. 1/2 c. is a good size for hamburger size patties.
(Opt. Cut amount of nuts in half.)
Bake 25 minutes at 350o F. Flip and bake longer if needed.
LOL you vegies make me smile. If you dont like meat why do you want to make vegatables look like meat products?

its always baffled me & i have to laugh when i see people buy things like that.

: )

.
iceland,

mums always go to iceland
Quorn do really good sausages- they have a "skin" and are really nice (can also get smoked pepper flavour an others)

Tesco do a decent range of their own- fairly cheap too

As for others, most shops of a decent size- from Morrisons through to Asda, Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Co-Op, Somerfield, (perhaps not Aldi or Lidl though) amongst any others. Most Spars, Costcutters too woul have a small range (although obviously more expensive!)

Enjoy- I am off to get my dinner now- veggie sausages- yum!

as for after a night out? can't beat falafel...
Try Cauldron sausages, lincolnshire or Cumberland. I love quorn but these are far better.
most supermarkets have them. if not then try a healthfood store. holland and barrets have a good range.
Basically in any decent supermarket. Look at the Linda McCartney range of products,
