Hello,Dear I am vegetarian and I don't think I ever might go back.I behold vegetarian not only more healthy, but also humane..and for me that is the only natural and proper way of eating of every man.I love all you've written really, tofu, different veggies, lettuce, sunflower seeds, sesami seeds, little honey etc. Best of luck!!

I am a vegetarian but not a vegan. I totally agree with the vegan lifestyle, but I have many food allergies and intolerances that make many typical vegan foods off limits for me. I can't eat anything with wheat or gluten in it, so all the seytan, tofurkey, boca stuff is a no-no :(

Anyway, because of my very strict diet, it is more than hard to find healthy vegetarian food, and I have to include dairy and eggs in my diet, although I buy organic, free range, and locally produced things as often as possible.

My husband has no medical restrictions on his diet. He used to be a vegan but lapsed to ovo-lacto, and now he is eating seafood, which bugs me. He is pretending not to remember that boiling lobsters alive is cruelty. Well, no, he just eats fishsticks, which disgust me to no end, but I try to remember that at least his pseudo-vegetarianism is better than being married to some McDonald's addict or something.

So, I guess if you find a way to successfully guilt someone back into full-fledged vegetarianism, pass your hints on to me!
I was a vege for 5 years. I gave it up about a year ago. And no, I won't go back. I have refound my love of all things pork and chicken. Animals be damned.

i don't think there are any issues in going back to vegetarian dish unless u are really hooked on to non-vegetarian dishes.

it is healthy to be vegetarian.
I never ate tofu when I was veggie, I rarely ate anything other than vegetables really and I got really sick so I was forecd to start eating meat again by my mother who said "I will not stand for any more of this eating nonsense!" and I had no choice really, I ate what I was given or starved!! I would go back to it again, but I just love bacon, fish and chicken too much. I do eat only organic meats and fish, if I must eat an animal it's far better to eat one that has had a happy life and not wallowed in misery for it's short life
go back to being veg, you mean? I'd like to. I've only relapsed back to eating seafood, mainly just for the omega 3s. But I'd like to go back to being a full veg, sure.
Well I have been a vegetarian for three months and a half now and I don't see myself going back to my old diet. Im used to it and loving it!!! My only problem is that I can't find tofu in my local supermarkets so it makes it harder for me to get it, but other than that I get everything else easily.
If it's where you are, eating vegetarian five days a week with maybe fish on Friday and chicken on Sunday is way more healthy than the standard American diet. You don't need to say you ARE vegetarian, you just need to be sure of what your preferences are.
