Why does regular milk expire in days and organic milk expires in weeks? Why does organic last so much longer?
Answers:
Because organic milk has more bacteria, some of them bad for us, but some of them are very important for our health. Also in "regular" milk they remove milk fat and some other ingrediens so that they can make butter and youghurt out of it. Hope I helped.
Other Answers:
the organic milk has less bacteria active so it last longer
Use regular milk only. The milk which expires in a month may have preservetives which are not good for the health
It doesn't. Fresh milk of any kind has about the same shelf life. If you are noticing different expiration dates, there are a couple of possibilities:
1. Your local store is selling more organic milk than regular, so they are rotating their stock of organic milk more often and it stays fresher; or
2. Maybe you are looking at organic soy milk? Soy definitely does have a longer shelf life than the stuff that comes from cows.
I just saw this on GMA this weekend. Organic milk is pasteurized at a much higher temperature killing almost all of the bacteria. Once open all milk, organic or otherwise, will only be fresh for about a week.

The organic milk does not last longer because it has preservatives in it, it is because it has fewer bacteria in it. Milk in general is terribly bad for you, however, as it has pus, blood, fecal matter, far more bad bacteria than good bacteria, dangerously high levels of dioxins and other toxins, and most people are simply allergic to it and don't even know. It also has cancer-causing hormones, (IGF-1). Organic milk has significantly less IGF-1 in it in general, but nonetheless, it's still there. At room temperature, the number of bacteria double in milk every 20 minutes, and in the fridge, this also increases exponentially, but more slowly. One cubic centimetre of milk is allowed to have 20,000 bacteria cells and 750,000 somatic cells (common name is "PUS") in it before it is kept off the market. In Europe and Canada it is more. The cholesterol content of three glasses of milk is equal to what one would get from 53 slices of bacon.
The milk of each of the over 4,700 mammals on earth is formulated specifically for that species. There are special lactoferrins and immunoglobulins (cow specific immunizing stuff) that in humans serve as allergens.
The protein lactalbumin, found in milk, has been identified as a key factor in diabetes (and a major reason for NOT giving cows milk to infants).
What about the calcium I'm getting? you say. Well, unfortunately, thousands of blood tests have shown that those who drink 3 to 4 glasses of milk a day, have the lowest levels of blood calcium. This is because milk contains calcium that is very hard for the body to absorb, as it lacks other necessary things to aid in its absorbtion (magnesium primarily). The best source of calcium for humans is in the fruits and vegetables that you eat.
There are so many other reasons not to drink milk that I won't get into them here. I suggest doing your own research to find out more.
Why do you think you get all mucusy after drinking it? That's your body saying "what the hell is this $#%! you've given me?"
Since I stopped drinking milk, I never get sick, I can run for literally hours longer than before, and I just feel all around better. The dairy industry is, quite simply, lying to us. Milk is for baby cows... and only then until they are weened off of it at a very young age. Wouldn't it be screwed up if we kept drinking human milk at this age? Think about it.

"It's not natural for humans to drink cow's milk. Humans milk is for humans. Cow's milk is for calves. You have no more need of cow's milk than you do rats milk, horses milk or elephant's milk. Cow's milk is a high fat fluid exquisitely designed to turn a 65 lb baby calf into a 400 lb cow. That's what cow's milk is for!" --Dr Michael Klaper MD
