what are those things called that you peel off to get the cap on a bottle of milk off?

Ripper-offer-thing-a-ma-bobs.
I just call them twisty peely things!!
I just call it a seal.
I believe the technical term is "Twisty Peely Things". So you really knew the answer all along! :o)
I don't know but I wish my family would stop leaving them on the counter. I call them "Why can't you throw that damn thing away"
