If I don't like Thai food, do you still want my answer?

Yeah, I tend to avoid it. I don't think the tinned stuff is very good for you.

<I love coconut milk. Someone mentioned it may not be good for you, that's nonsense. It may have negative effects for some people and you may be one of them but it may also be other ingredients. Whatever dish you are served, it is not going to be coconut milk and chicken, there is going to be curry, basil, lemongrass, etc.

Yes sometimes, when it went bad. i love Thai food and coconut milk.

Sometimes it does look as if its curdled. (~~)

<I eat Thai, Indian and Malay food using coconut milk quite often but never felt queasy. It should be fresh of course because coconut milk turns bad fast if left unused. Contrary to popular beliefs coconut milk is not unhealthy - infact i read an article which says it has a host of health benefits.

Could it be that it makes the food to oily? Or maybe the oil in coconut milk is harder to digest. coconut milk is one of the source of the essential fatty acid our body needs. As long as it is fresh, it's good.

I hate coconut milk on it's own.
But I'm a big lover of ethnic foods, and other internation cuisines. I eat lots of South Indian food (which uses coconut oil as a base in much of it's dishes) as well as Malay and Indonesian food (again, lots of coconut milk).

I don't really get queasy from it, so long as I don't smell the concentrated thing outright because it's a little nasty.
