Halal Diet?

I am having a birthday party for my 6 year old. I was informed by one of the parents that they eat a Halal diet. I cannot feed him any meat other than fish and no milk products. The place where we are having the party doesn't serve fish. I have no clue what to feed him. Also any ideas about a birthday cake substitue? The cake has dairy. I don't want this little boy to feel 'different' when all of the other kids are eating cake etc. any 'good' suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Answer:
Not sure where you are having the party, but perhaps a tasty veggie dish (e.g., veggie tacos, quesadillas, spaghetti). For dessert, you can go to a halal grocery and get halal jello, halal custard, baklava, etc. Note, most kosher items should qualify as halal. I would also reach out to the parents and confirm that whatever you chose to serve their son to make sure they agree it is appropriate - they may also have some ideas themselves!
well, is there such a thing as undairy cake??? what about pizza?--wait does that have dairy in it--cheese. i don't know
you can always go to a shop which sells halal food, im sure you can find something from there that he may have....
