Where I can find jamun recipes?
I heard in India you have a lot of recipes using jamun (

), including medical recipes. In Brazil the jamun tree is only ornamental. I need a lot of these recipes. Could anyone sends to me? Thanks.

Here are some recipes I found (on the link below). Sorry, but one isn't really medicinal. I tried a bunch of different sites for it, but they all only seemed to have one recipe for it- something called "Gulab Jamun." I had never heard of the stuff before, but it looks good!

Jamun is a fruit which is relished in India. I have never heard of anything prepared from it. The seed is very large and very little pulp. The fruits are sold in the market during the season only.
Now, about Gulab Jamun- it has no connection with the fruit. Gulab jamun is prepared from milk powder and flour, balls made from this dough are deep fried and soaked in sugar syrup.
Just thought i would correct your idea that it is connected to the fruit. - Revathi
