How do I make couscous more tasty? What spices should I add?

I can't add curry because my husband hates it.

Answers:
Think finely diced veggies like Zucchini , yellow squash, shallots , red onions , diced tomatoes .. then you can add on some spices ... couscous can be flavored with what your husband does like , Italian , Mexican focus on what he does like and go from there

Other Answers:
Pine nuts.
Garlic.
Oregano.

Season salt, garlic, onion powder, cayenne pepper, butter, cinnamon. All the powders would be fine. Try cooking the couscous in chicken broth or beef broth instead of water. You can add anything that you like... Garlic, chive, oregano...etc.

I am a couscous junkie & make it all the time. I try to make it sweet & savory at the same time; I put in a bit of Lawry's Seasoned Salt, some Mrs. Dash & a bit of HONEY. Add all TO TASTE (like, taste it until it tastes how you want it). Oh and yes, pine nuts rule.

For summer Lemon juice and zest and fresh Mint are wonderful.

Or, you can also make it into a salad by cooling and adding diced tomato, cucumber, and maybe red onion or bell pepper, then add herbs like basil and parsley, olive oil and vinegar (red wine is nice and light)
