I do not know why you are using oil or butter for brownies try my recipe it does not call for either and they are soft moist and fantastic and easy to boot

Melt together
6 oz Semi Sweet Chocolate
1/4 c Coco Butter (sorry just a little)

Mix together
2 eggs
1 c sugar
1 tea vanilla
Add the melted chocolate mixture
Add
3/4 c Flour
1/4 tea salt
1/4 tea baking powder
Bake these at 350 degree for aprox 10 - 15 minutes
in a prepared pan with flour

These are easy and great
