Who Has The Best Recipe For Sausage&Peppers...

I Need a really good one! traditional, and it seems that people who have a great grandmother from Italy, or Mexico, have beautiful recipes, and other people do as well....is yours the best???

Answers:
I do.

4 - 6 hot or sweet sausages (I buy the publix brand or Harrys Farmers Market)
1 red and 1 green bell pepper cut into strips
1 medium red onion, sliced
1 jar of spicy marinara (whatever you like the best) or make your own
crushed garlic
crushed red peppers
olive oil
salt, pepper, paprika

Heat olive oil, add sausage that has been cut down into 2 inch pieces. Cook the sausage for about 15 minutes and remove from heat. To the oil (Unless there is a ton of it, remove some) add the peppers, onions, garlic and spices and cook for about 30 to 40 minutes on a low low heat. Add the peppers back into it and add some of the sauce (I don't like alot of sauce, infact you do not even have to use it). Continue to cook really low for another 15, adjust seasonings to what you prefer.

Serve with pasta or on a large roll.
