Any one know a Penn. Dutch recipe for liver sausage?

My G. Grandmother used to make a "sausage" from liver. As I remember, she ground the fresh, uncooked, liver with other ingredients. She would then fry this mixture and we would have it for breakfast. I hated it as a child but now find myself wanting to make it. Any ideas?
