Would it taste good if you sprayed canola oil on corn on the cob to get butter to stick?
Question:
Answer:
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray, It's really liquid margerine. I liked the taste of it, I used it when I went on a diet b/c it contains no calories.
If you spray the cob with canola oil, it isn't going to stick, it's going to slip off. That stuff is seriously slippery. You can use it to fix squeaky door hinges and the like.
theres margerine, and there's the "i can't believe its not butter" spray stuff thats at the grocery store
It won't stick, either. Canola oil and butter are both fats, so if one doesn't stick, why would you think another one would? It's not about the way it's applied, but about the type of molecule being applied.
Since you're going to try it anyway....why bother asking?
No...the corn will not hold the butter, but with spray oil, it will hold seasoning. You won't have the butter taste..and there are lot's of fake butters out there.....and as far as I can tell,,,,,,not ONE actually tastes like butter. The sprinkle kind is called Butter Buds, and tastes pretty awful. READ the label...you would be better off using REAL butter.
melt the butter, dude
i wouldn't recommend spraying it with canola oil. i'd just add the butter. the butter is called "i can't believe it's not butter".
I have used cooking spray that's butter flavored, works great, used it on popcorn, too.Fake butter stuff,um,Molly Mc Butter?
people are so ignorant. Margarine is not better for you. it has transfat and saturated fat. those spray are not fat free. The serving size is a 1/2 second spray, which is nothing. Use smart balance, it is made from heathly oils, has no tran/saturatedfat. That doesnt mean u can use alot, becuz it still has a lot of fat and calories, itz just slightly better.
