Question:
I LOVE the heath bar cookies at heavenly ham, i've tried to make them a few times, but they never come out as moist and chewy as they are when i get them at heavenly ham. anyone know how to make them like heavenly ham does?
Answer:
I do not know the recipe at heavenly ham but I have tried these:
Heath Bar Cookies
3 cubes of butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 Heath bars, slivered
Beat together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour and soda. Sliver Heath bars and mix together with flour mixture. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. ( I cook less and so there a little gooey and nice and chewy)
