I have some cherries that I want to use up, so I've decided to make a cherry cobbler. The only problem is...
Question:
Answer:
Blueberries. I make cherryblueberry cobbler often & it tastes great. And blueberries are good for your vision. Good Luck!
apples or blueberries
apples, definitely.
I vote for apples. they should be good. Depending on what kind of apples you have tho...
Strawberries or blueberries for sure. Strawberries will make a prettier dish, but either sounds great.
Definitely the apples! I made an apple/cherry pie once and it was a truly delicious combination!
Definately APPLES!
The red and white fruit will look really nice together, too!
I would go with the blueberries. They have a similar texture to cherries, and would blend in well. I don't think strawberries would do well in a cobbler. Apples and peaches might compete with the cherries too much. Stick with blueberries!
You do best to stick with a berry. The Peaches and the apples would probably be to acidic and not meld well with the cherries. Strawberries would probably hold up best, raspberries 2nd, the blackberries, and then blueberries. But since you don't have the black or rasp, why don't you try about an equal part of strawberries and a half part of blueberries. It probably would work and thus none of the 3 berries would dominate your palette.
Well cherries are bitter sweet...so you want something more on the sweet sweet side.I would think that strawberries would make it really sweet.blueberries and apples would be more tart.and peach's.I am not sure, that sounds good but I cant picture how that would taste.
