Ewww...I do not like chorizo...it has it's very own poignant smell when it is cooking...however..you should be able to find it in a local grocery store...or Super Walmart etc..I know I have seen them from Alaska to Texas...
If you live near a Winn Dixie, they sell it. I just bought some for Cinco de Mayo. Do you have any Mexican grocery stores? That's the most obvious place. Good luck finding it.
