Even well wrapped in a regular freezer it will start to get freezer burn after 3 months but still be edible. If you vacuum seal it and put it in a special deep freeze unit (a separate appliance) it can stay indefinitely, as long as you want.
I personally would not leave in it there more than 6 months max.
