This is a great cake and it feeds a lot of people. The best part is that you don't have to let the cake cool before you frost it! It's yummy! Happy Birthday!

I like those old fashioned yellow or white cake mixes that you poke the tops of and pour your favorite jello flavor down into with cool whip icing. Light and refreshing!! if your asking what flavor to make i think white with peanut butter fudge icing!!! mmmmm it makes me hungry thinkng about it....you might want to do half anf half though incase some people dont like vanilla, if your askig a theme to make well it depends on how old your going to be...hope i helped...happy birthday!!!
You will need at least a 10" round cake or a 1/2 sheet cake if you want extra - go with your favorite flavor - I like chocolate (of course, doesn't everyone?) with a Raspberry Jam filling with a Mocha Frosting (sorry - that is the chef in me! and I grew up in a bakery and my dad was an award winning pastry chef!) HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~ whichever flavor you choose!
I think a nice change to "traditional" birthday cake is a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. mmm it is sooo good. Whatever cake you decide to go with hope you like it and happy birthday!!Lemon Or stawberry with a buttercream frosting all by Betty Crocker carrot/pineapple with cream cheese frostin yummy
I like the Better Than Sex Cake. I always make it for all my families birthdays. You make a yellow cake mix, then poke holes in it after it cools, and pour Goya cream of coconut over the cake. Then take Cool Whip and spread over that, and top with a layer of coconut. You can dye the coconut any color you want, and also color the cool whip. It is really good.
