Need a great recipe for Tan Tan Ramen, anyone know ?


Ok for that haven't a clue. It's a spicey white sauce ramen. Mainly southern japan style. Hawaii has a few shops that serve it.

TAN TAN Men

(Serves 4)
[Ingredients]
2t oil, 1t sesame oil, 1/2 stalk green onion(chopped), 8c 2t soup stock 1, clove garlic(minced), 4 servings boiled noodles, 80g bamboo shoots(minced), 2t Shoyu, 3 pcs dried shiitake mushrooms, Black pepper, 300g minced pork, 3t miso, 2t sugar, 2 t sake.
[Directions]
1. Heat oil in fry pan. Sautee green onion and garlic. Add bamboo shoots, shiitake, pork, miso, sugar, sake, sesame oil, 2t soup stock, and dash of Tobanjan.
2. Boil remaining soup stock. Add shoyu, oil (if necessary), and black pepper to taste. Divide soup evenly into serving bowls.

Add boiled noodles. Top with mixture.
