Why when you get drunk or drink a lot of alcohol before you go to sleep, you have night sweats?

Question:

Answer:
it's your body's way of getting rid of excess toxins that came along with the alchohol.
Its one of the two ways (with out throwing up) your body can get rid of the alcohol, I'm sure you can guess the other
Not true. The amount of alcohol you excrete by sweating is almost non existent. That is because alcohol cannot get to your sweat glands until is has been absorbed by the stomach. The alcohol that does make it out in sweat is because it couldnt be absorbed, not because the body is trying to expell it.

As for why you sweat alcohol has a tendancy to increase gland functions which may make you sweaty. Also it causes your heart to work harder so your body is actually exerting more energy to keep you working.
Not sure I have not slept in years, I just pass out and come to.
Alcohol is a peripheral vasodilator, meaning that it causes the blood vessels in the skin to expand and fill with blood. If you go to bed drunk your skin will be flushed and warm. When you are warm you sweat to cool off.
