Unusual question but...?
Question:
basically before i go to bed tonight i want to transfer the champagne from its orginal pressurised glass bottle to a basic 2 litre plastic bottle. will the champagne still be bubbly tomorow or will it go flat. it wont be kept in a fridge - dont know if that matters. i need answers before i go to bed so answer quick pleas lol thanks.

put the top on tight and put in fridge...it should be ok. but why won't it be in the fridge?? then it might get flat
It should avoid going completely flat if you have the plastic bottle as full as possible and seal it as tight as possible

The sad fact is that as soon as you open the bottle it's going to start loosing carbonation. Whatever plastic bottle you are tranferring it too needs to have a lid that can be closed very tightly. If you are using a pop bottle, you might think about putting a layer of plastic wrap over the top before you screw the cap on. This will give the lid more of an air-tight seal.
As for the bottle itself, I would only use a 2-liter if you are tranferring the whole bottle. If you are only storing a partial bottle, move down to a 20 oz. or 1-lter bottle. The closer the bottle is to being full, the better the carbonation retention should be.
If it's not going to be refrigerated after transferring, try to have it at room temperature BEFORE tranferring. It will also help.
